Since its inception in 1979, the mission of The Complete Conference, Inc. has been to develop and implement high quality cost-effective meetings. Professionalism, integrity, customer satisfaction and dependability are the watchwords of our planning team.
Our fundamental approach to meeting management, regardless of the size of the event or scope of the project, is to utilize a systematic, four-phase procedure that includes: an in-depth analysis of the company or organization's needs, the development of an efficient, tailored plan of action, a successful execution, and a post-meeting evaluation.
To fulfill that mission and meet the needs of our clients, a team of
professional meeting planners with incomparable depth of experience has
been assembled. This experience includes forty years of managing meetings
ranging from major conventions of more than 5,000 people, to discrete
corporate retreats. In addition, our staff has twenty years of trade
show management experience employing various venues and mediums. Unlike
most planning firms, we have an extensive background in organizational
development and association management as well as hotel management
experience in operations, sales and marketing, food and beverage,
convention service, finance, and front office and reservations.
Key Staff Members
Marilyn J. Hauck, CMP - President
Active in the meetings industry for thirty years, Marilyn Hauck, C.M.P.
(Certified Meeting Professional) is founder and President of TCC. With a background in
group process, organizational development and training, Ms. Hauck plans, markets and
manages meetings and events of all sizes. She also consults in areas of small business
development and with hotels. Ms. Hauck is a popular author for industry publications and
frequently instructs at educational events.
Ms. Hauck has served on the Board of Directors for the Northern California Chapter of Meeting Professionals International, chaired the steering committee for the foundation of the Sacramento Chapter of MPI, was its first President and recently received her second "Planner of the Year"" award. At the International level of MPI, Ms. Hauck has served on the Board of Directors for the Council of Presidents, and the Chapter Relations and Nominating Committees. She has also chaired the task force and the Advisory Council for the Independent Meeting Planners Special Interest Group. Ms. Hauck is currently a member of the California Society of Association Executives and is an instructor in the California State University at Sacramento Meeting Planning Certificate program where she teaches all of the negotiations, contracts and liability classes.
Larry Jacinth, CMP - Director of Operations
Larry Jacinth is a certified meeting professional with over 20 years of meeting, trade show and convention experience. His scope of expertise includes meeting design, management and special events execution, which he has demonstrated in private, non-profit, association and corporate arenas. Having marketed, sold and managed numerous trade shows for non-profit and private agencies, Mr. Jacinth is well-versed in the necessary key elements for successful trade shows, large and small. A seasoned professional with strong leadership, development and problem-solving skills, Mr. Jacinth oversees multiple projects of a variety of sizes and scopes. He is a past president of the Meeting Professionals International Sacramento Chapter and a recipient of their Meeting Professional of the Year award.
